Job summary

Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Structural Field Inspector to support Asset Management programs in Bryan/College Station, TX. The role requires field inspections of industrial structures, data collection, and adherence to safety and client standards.

You will travel to client facilities, work with the Field Project Manager and Asset Management teams, and contribute to accurate field notes, photos, and documentation for inspection reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Industrial inspection experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel to client facilities and sites.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• TWIC card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of existing industrial structures and document observed conditions.
• Ensure inspections follow Orbital procedures, standards and client requirements.
• Document deficiencies with photos, measurements and checklists.
• Communicate critical findings to Field Project Manager.
• Coordinate daily field activities with project team and client contacts.
• Assist with inspection reports and deliverables.
