Job summary

Generative is seeking a Deployment Strategist to own the commercial and strategic success of customer deployments in industrial AI. You will map data flows, physical processes and commercial priorities on site, creating value through AI-enabled optimization and robust proposals.

You will work with plant operators, engineers, IT and executives to translate findings into compelling deployments, demos, and business cases, while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Exceptional critical thinking and structured problem-solving ability.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Some programming and data experience, ideally including Python.
• Ability to understand both technical systems and commercial problems.
• Willingness to travel regularly and spend time inside large production facilities.
• Genuine interest in manufacturing, physics and real-world industrial systems.
• Comfort operating with autonomy in an early-stage, fast-moving environment.
• Experience in metals, mining, energy, oil and gas, chemicals or manufacturing would be valuable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Leading engineering studies at prospective customer sites.
• Spending time onsite mapping operational processes, data flows and commercial priorities.
• Identifying high-value opportunities for AI and advanced optimisation.
• Translating findings into proposals covering scope, cost, value and delivery timelines.
• Building and presenting demos, data analysis and business cases.
• Partnering with Forward Deployed Engineers throughout implementation.
• Managing customer relationships and ensuring deployments deliver against the agreed scope.
• Training users, gathering feedback and identifying product improvements.
• Helping the company enter new customers, markets and industrial verticals.
