Rhodes Wolfe in Auburn, MA is seeking an Entry-Level Manufacturing/Industrial Account Specialist to manage and support existing strategic accounts. You will handle inbound requests, evaluate bids, and prepare quotes for assigned customer accounts, mostly through email.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Internship experience required.
• Engineering coursework, Manufacturing/Industrial, or Quality Assurance exposure required.
• Comfort with learning to read technical specifications and blueprints required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact for 10–15 key accounts
• Own day-to-day communication with assigned customers, mostly via email
• Manage inbound RFQs, bids, and commercial questions for assigned accounts
• Review bid packages and decide which opportunities to quote or decline
• Coordinate with purchasing to source material and confirm availability
• Build accurate quotes that balance margin goals and competitiveness
• Interpret customer material specs using training and internal resources
• Send timely quotes, order confirmations, and revised documentation
• Provide proactive order status updates and resolve account issues
• Maintain organized account records in Outlook, ERP, and shared files
• Partner with outside sales and operations to support account projects
• Join occasional customer visits or industry conferences as needed
