Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Account Representative I to grow their book of business by converting competitors' accounts and expanding mid-sized accounts into large ones. You’ll build strong customer relationships, present solutions, and coordinate with vendor resources to meet technical needs.

Travel is required. A bachelor’s degree with 0–2 years’ experience is typical. Excellent communication and knowledge of power transmission, hydraulics, and pneumatics are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 0–2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient understanding of sales principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Increases revenue by generating new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Generates new leads through networking, cold calling, and research.
• Interacts face-to-face with customers to foster relationships and satisfaction.
• Interprets customer requirements for customized quotes.
• Delivers effective sales presentations and ensures technical needs are met.
• Assists with on-site troubleshooting and coordinating vendor resources.
• Works with vendor resources to support sales activities.
