Arts Ed NJ, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, seeks a dynamic and passionate Individual Giving Development Coordinator to cultivate and implement strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability of Arts Ed NJ and meet the goals of the organization’s new five-year strategic vision plan. This new part-time position (average 20 hours/week) will play a crucial role in building a robust and diversified donor portfolio in conjunction with the Board, Executive Director, and other staff. The position has been supported through a generous grant from NJ Cultural Trust.
The position is remote with occasional requirements for in-person meetings with potential donors (10-20 annually), board meetings (1-2 annually), and all-staff meeting/planning days (scheduled as needed). Staff members have access to an office space in Burlington, NJ if preferred.
A successful candidate is a detail-oriented, independent worker, with knowledge of fundraising as well as a passion for and in-depth knowledge about arts in education or other related fields. The ideal candidate understands the New Jersey Pre-K12 education landscape, can think creatively and strategically, and can develop and maintain authentic relationships with various constituents. We seek a candidate interested in growing with our organization who can help us expand our donor base, execute donor cultivation events, strengthen communication with existing supporters, and cultivate potential donors and sponsors. This position also offers the opportunity to become a member of a dynamic six-person team committed to ensuring every student in NJ receives an impactful arts education.
