The candidate will leverage Vertex/ONESOURCE/Avalara and ERP tools to enhance tax data, controls, and reporting. The position requires strong leadership, tax process improvement experience, and the ability to travel ~50% of the time, with a hybrid work model

Qualifications

• 6 years of indirect tax process improvement experience or equivalent.
• CPA license or membership progress toward those certifications.
• Experience with indirect tax software such as Vertex, ONESOURCE, or Avalara.
• ERP and procurement systems experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and mentor counselees and manage client-serving business.
• Document current state tax processes and controls to identify enhancement opportunities.
• Develop a business case to justify tax process enhancement solutions.
• Support indirect tax software/vendor selection processes.
• Document tax data requirements.
• Implement automated indirect tax calculation and compliance solutions.
• Support data analytics for indirect tax.
• Support global digital tax reporting implementations.
