Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Tax Technology and Transformation expert to help client tax departments automate indirect tax and implement tax software. You will lead teams, coordinate resources, and deliver tax data analytics and reporting solutions across ERP platforms.

The role requires strong expertise in indirect tax and tax technology, with up to 50% travel. Hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits are offered across client engagements.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate emphasis in accounting and approximately 6 years of indirect tax process experience, or a master’s with ~4 years.
• CPA or bar membership in progress or achieved; relevant certifications preferred.
• Experience in indirect tax software and ERP integration (Vertex, ONESOURCE, Avalara, SAP, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Help client tax departments operate at peak efficiency and position them to capture tax savings opportunities.
• Lead a team, mentor counselees, and manage client-serving engagements.
• Define solutions, coordinate resources, and deliver automated indirect tax calculation and compliance.
• Support data analytics, global digital tax reporting initiatives, and vendor selections.
