Job summary

EY is seeking a Tax Technology and Transformation leader to help client tax departments operate at peak efficiency, delivering automated indirect tax solutions and data analytics to improve compliance and reporting. The role requires leading teams, building business cases, coordinating ERP and tax software projects (Vertex, ONESOURCE, Avalara), and traveling up to 50% in a hybrid US office environment.

A strong accounting background with CPA/licensure progress is preferred, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Indirect tax process improvement experience or equivalent in business/industry.
• CPA/licensure progress or Bar membership preferred.
• Experience with indirect tax software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and mentor counselees while managing client-serving business.
• Document current tax processes and controls, identify enhancements.
• Develop business cases and justify tax process enhancements.
• Support indirect tax software/vendor selection and data requirements.
• Implement automated indirect tax calculation and compliance solutions.
• Support data analytics and global digital tax reporting implementations.
