Job summary

EY is seeking a Tax Technology and Transformation professional to help client tax departments enhance efficiency and drive strategic tax automation. You will coordinate with tax, IT, and vendors to deliver automated indirect tax solutions and data analytics in a globally connected, client-facing role.

The role requires strong leadership, significant indirect tax experience, and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Indirect tax experience in Sales/Use Tax, VAT preferred.
• Strong managerial and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Help client tax departments operate at peak efficiency and productivity.
• Transfer control of tax decision-making to tax specialists within the client’s tax department.
• Define the solution, coordinate resources and deliver a finished product meeting goals and tax requirements.
• Lead a team, mentor counselees and manage client-serving business.
• Document current state tax processes and controls to identify enhancements.
• Support development of a business case for tax process improvements.
• Assist in selecting indirect tax software/vendors and data requirements.
• Implement automated indirect tax calculation and compliance solutions.
• Support data analytics for indirect tax and global digital tax reporting.
