Job summary

Reece Group is seeking a Tax Accountant to support indirect tax and compliance activities for Reece USA, focusing on sales and use tax and related filings. The role collaborates with Accounting, IT, Legal, and business partners to ensure accurate filings and data integrity.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, with multi-state tax research experience and the ability to manage recurring deadlines while strengthening controls and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 2–4 years of tax or accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-state sales and use tax compliance is preferred.
• Strong Excel and ERP/tax software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns.
• Maintain tax configurations in ERP and sales tax systems and verify tax calculations.
• Research taxability and exemption requirements and manage exemption certificates.
• Support tax accruals, reconciliations, audits, notices, and disclosures.
• Coordinate property tax filings and assist with corporate reporting.
