Job summary

Reece USA is seeking a Tax Manager to lead indirect tax and compliance, with primary focus on sales and use tax and support for property tax and corporate filings. You will collaborate with Accounting, IT, Legal, and external providers to maintain accurate filings and data integrity.

The role requires 5+ years of tax experience and strong multi-state knowledge, with sharp analytical skills to improve controls in a hybrid work environment (4 days in-office, 1 day remote).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation required.
• 5+ years of tax experience; corporate indirect tax experience preferred.
• Experience with multi-state sales and use tax; property tax & business licensing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and timely file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns; coordinate data with providers.
• Maintain tax configurations in ERP and sales tax systems (Avalara); monitor tax calculation, collection, reporting accuracy.
• Research product taxability and exemption requirements; maintain exemption certificates; respond to tax questions.
• Assist with tax accruals, reconciliations, audits, notices, and voluntary disclosures; gather support and coordinate responses.
• Coordinate property tax renditions, assessments, payments, protests, and landlord reconciliations.
• Coordinate business license filings/renewals and assist with annual corporate reporting.
• Maintain organized tax records and improve controls/workflows.
