Job summary

PSECU is seeking an Indirect Loan Processor to handle vehicle loan applications from indirect program participants. You will verify documentation, communicate with members and dealerships, and maintain positive relations to avoid funding delays. Expect collaboration with multiple loan processing teams and ongoing training responsibilities.

The role supports a schedule of Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm, with every other Saturday 9:00am–5:00pm and 20% onsite expectation.

Qualifications

• High School (Required)
• Verifies documentation for completeness on indirect loan applications.
• Communicates with members and dealers to obtain required loan information.
• Maintains relationships to avoid funding delays and demonstrates professionalism.
• Trains employees as needed.
• Collaborates with Direct Loan Call Center, Consumer Loan Servicing, Processing and New Member Processing.

Responsibilities

• Verify documentation for completeness by indirect program participants including dealers and vendors.
• Communicate with members and auto dealerships to acquire information necessary to complete loan processing.
• Maintains positive and productive relationships with program participants, coaching dealers as needed to avoid recurring funding delays.
• Responsible for training employees as needed.
• Works closely with other departments to enable the completion of assigned tasks and to assist the other units in completion of their tasks.
• Cross-trained to processes loan applications submitted by indirect program participants including third-party refinance companies and other vendors.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Indirect Loan Processor processes vehicle loan applications submitted by indirect program participants completing loan funding. Assists with handling dealer and member inquiries as they relate to all aspects of the indirect lending program.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. Every other Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm with Monday off. Onsite expectation is 20%.

In this position, you will

• Verify documentation for completeness by indirect program participants including third-party refinance companies and other vendors to fund applications.
• Communicate with members and auto dealerships to acquire information necessary to complete loan processing. Provides detailed comments in reference to conversations with members and dealers concerning all loans.
• Maintains positive and productive relationships with program participants, coaching dealers as needed to avoid recurring funding delays. Displays professionalism, effective phone and computer skills, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Responsible for training employees as needed.
• Works closely with other departments to enable the completion of assigned tasks and to assist the other units in completion of their assigned tasks. Other departments include but are not limited to: Direct Loan Call Center, Consumer Loan Servicing, Consumer Loan Processing and New Member Processing.
• Cross-trained to processes loan applications submitted by indirect program participants including third-party refinance companies and other vendors. Adheres to underwriting policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
