Job summary

Jobtailor in Harrisburg, PA, is seeking a detail-oriented loan processor to handle vehicle loan applications for indirect program participants. You will fund loans, verify documentation, and maintain strong relationships with dealers and members.

The role requires excellent communication, problem solving, and the ability to train colleagues as needed, with a schedule that includes Monday–Friday hours and periodic Saturday coverage.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process vehicle loan applications submitted by indirect program participants and complete loan funding.
• Assist with dealer and member inquiries regarding the indirect lending program.
• Verify documentation for completeness, including documentation from third-party refinance companies and other vendors.
• Communicate with members and auto dealerships to obtain information needed to complete loan processing.
• Provide detailed comments about conversations with members and dealers concerning loans.
• Maintain positive and productive relationships with program participants.
• Coach dealers as needed to prevent recurring funding delays.
• Train employees as needed.
• Work with other departments to complete assigned tasks and support their work.
• Cross-train to process loan applications submitted by indirect program participants.
• Adhere to underwriting policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School (Required)
• Any equivalent combination of experience and education (Required)
• Effective phone and computer skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm and every other Saturday 8:00am–5:00pm with Monday off
• Ability to meet the minimum onsite expectation of 1 day per week or as needed
