Job summary

HP Indigo Field Service Engineer is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role delivering advanced mechanical, electrical, and electronic support for HP Indigo digital printing presses across the San Francisco Bay Area.

The role involves on‑site and remote customer support, system installation, upgrades, operator training, and preventive maintenance. Travel up to 50% is required, and the candidate must sit out of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, technical certification, or equivalent hands‑on training.
• 4–6+ years of related field service experience, ideally with HP products or industrial printers.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and sit out of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction by identifying technical needs and delivering timely resolutions.
• Serve as the primary on‑site and remote support contact for HP Indigo press customers.
• Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Conduct system installation, commissioning, upgrades, operator training, and preventive maintenance.
• Participate in ramp‑up training to build deep technical knowledge and teach customers and partners.
