Stine Seed Company, a privately-held, growing national seed company, currently has an opening for an Independent Sales Representative in Holmes county in Ohio. Qualifications

• Three+ years of agricultural experience, including agronomy, crop production or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales techniques, as well as negotiation skills and the ability to overcome obstacles.
• Demonstrated success in dealer development and retention.
• Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision to meet goals.
• Preference for candidates who can build/maintain strong grower relationships and meet needs and results.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services applicable to the territory.
• Manage existing accounts & recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine's sales programs and policies within the territory to meet district sales goals.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Agronomist to provide a high level of sales support within the territory.
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers, either personally or through a designated seller.
