Job summary

Stine Seed Company is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to cover Green, Adair, Metcalfe, Russell, and Wayne Counties in South Central Kentucky. You’ll act as the primary ambassador for the Stine brand, building agronomic knowledge and relationships while driving sales and new account development.

You will work with the Regional Sales Agronomist to provide sales support, meet district goals, and leverage unlimited earning potential within the flexible territory structure.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of agricultural experience, including agronomy, crop production or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales techniques, as well as negotiation skills and the ability to overcome obstacles.
• Demonstrated success in dealer development and retention.
• Initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory (Green, Adair, Metcalfe, Russell, and Wayne Counties).
• Develop and maintain agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services for the territory.
• Manage existing accounts and recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine sales programs and policies to meet district sales goals.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Agronomist to provide high-level sales support in the territory.
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers directly or through a designated seller.
