Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to troubleshoot and service security systems, including alarms and CCTV. You will work from a location with full tools and coordinate with authorities for inspections, while delivering high levels of customer service and effective solutions.

You will readjust, repair, or replace faulty equipment, test operation, provide quotes, and upsell where appropriate to improve facility efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience with Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.
• Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Electrical/Electronic background.
• Valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass government background screen.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service security systems.
• Repair or replace alarms and CCTV equipment.
• Coordinate inspections with police, fire departments.
• Provide quotes and upsell opportunities.
• Maintain service readiness and safety compliance.
