Job summary

Periscope Group is seeking an Independent Consultant Occupational or Physical Therapist to perform in-home, one-time medical necessity assessments across the country. You will deliver expert recommendations and educational support to help patients maintain independence and safety in their homes.

Responsibilities include assessments, device training, and secure online documentation. Licensure as PT/OT is required, with insurance and travel to member homes encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance may be purchased at time of offer.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and navigate varied home environments.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to member homes.
• Proficient with technology and online portals for documentation.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in patients' homes.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, service, and care.
• Conduct one-time medical device training for patients with neuropathy.
• Complete documentation through secure online portal from any device.
• Participate in training to become a certified wearable device trainer.
• Educate patients on device use.
