Job summary

The Periscope Group is seeking an experienced Physical or Occupational Therapist to join its nationwide network for in-home, one-time medical necessity assessments in Ventura, CA.

As an independent contractor, you set your own schedule, perform home visits, provide equipment and care recommendations, and complete secure online documentation from any device.

Malpractice insurance and a commitment to thorough assessments are expected; travel to member homes is required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist (PTA/COTA not eligible).
• Malpractice/Liability insurance required (may be purchased at time of offer).
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs, and assess varied home environments.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to member homes.
• Proficient with online portals and device-based documentation.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in a member's home.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, services, and care to support independence.
• Complete documentation through our secure online portal accessible from any device.
