Job summary

The Periscope Group is seeking an Independent Consultant OT/PT to perform in-home medical necessity assessments nationwide. You will provide equipment and care recommendations, supporting independence for members.

Candidates must be licensed as PT or OT, willing to travel, and comfortable using online portals and mobile devices for documentation. Flexible scheduling and contractor onboarding are offered.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Malpractice/Liability Insurance may be purchased at time of job offer.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments, and perform physical assessments as needed.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and from member homes.
• Proficient with technology: navigate online portals, upload documents, and use devices for all tasks.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in a consumer's home.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, service, and care to empower independence.
• Complete documentation through secure online portal accessible from any device.
