Job summary

The Periscope Group is seeking an Independent Physical or Occupational Therapist to perform one-time in-home medical necessity assessments in Visalia, CA. You will evaluate client needs, provide equipment and care recommendations, and document findings using our secure online portal.

This contractor role offers a flexible schedule, travels to member homes, and a straightforward onboarding process. Current PT or OT licensure is required, with liability insurance and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist or Licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Liability insurance may be purchased at time of offer.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to member homes.
• Proficient with online portals and document uploads.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in a client’s home.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, services, and care to maintain independence.
• Complete documentation through our secure online portal from any device.
