Job summary

Underwriter Services Association seeks experienced Commercial and Personal Lines loss control consultants to conduct interior and exterior inspections as approved vendors. This independent contractor role pays per inspection and reports are delivered through a cloud system.

Bills are paid weekly after satisfactory completion, with flexible scheduling and own equipment. Applicants must pass background checks; bilingual candidates are a plus.

Qualifications

• One year experience in interior/exterior residential loss control surveys and reports.
• 3–5 years experience in Commercial Loss Control assignments.
• Own a computer with Windows 10 and high‑speed internet access.
• Be detail oriented and well organized with a flexible schedule.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email or phone.
• Perform complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls found at the property.
• Conduct on-site interviews regarding the property as required.
• Upload report/photos through a cloud-based system by the deadline.
