Job summary

Underwriter Services Association is seeking experienced Commercial Loss Control Consultants in the Philadelphia area to inspect properties and provide risk assessments. You will operate as an independent 1099 contractor, using your own equipment, and submit reports through a cloud-based system.

Pay is per inspection or hourly, with weekly payment upon completion and submission. The role requires strong communication, organization, and technical skills, plus reliable transportation and a flexible

Qualifications

• Experience completing property and casualty insurance loss control surveys and reports.
• Understanding of general liability and property coverage.
• Familiarity with commercial auto, workers' compensation, inland marine lines preferred.
• Ability to work quickly to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Ability to assess physical condition of a property and prepare concise reports.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email or phone.
• Complete physical inspections of properties in territory.
• Take digital photos of properties.
• Identify hazards/controls and document findings.
• Conduct on-site management interviews and gather information.
• Upload reports and photos through cloud-based system.
• Complete required online training and follow company policies.
• Follow safety procedures and perform other duties as needed.
