Underwriter Services Association is seeking experienced Commercial Loss Control Consultants to inspect insured properties in Manhattan, NY. Independent 1099 role; reports are paid per inspection or hourly. You’ll use your own equipment and work with a cloud-based reporting system to deliver timely assessments.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of loss control experience and may hold CSP or ARM certifications. Reliable transportation and strong communication, organization, and technical skills are

Qualifications

• Experience completing property and casualty loss control surveys and reports.
• Thorough understanding of general liability and property lines of coverage.
• General understanding of commercial auto, workers' comp, and inland marine coverage preferred.
• Ability to meet hard due dates with minimal supervision.
• Own equipment and reliable transportation; basic computer proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email or phone.
• Complete physical inspections of properties within territory as required.
• Take digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls found on site.
• Complete on-site management interviews as required.
• Upload reports/photos through a cloud-based system.
• Complete online training courses as required.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and ethics codes.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary.
