Job summary

Underwriter Services Association Inc. seeks experienced Commercial and Personal Lines loss control consultants to inspect properties as independent contractors within your coverage area. No license is required, and inspections may be interior or exterior.

You will use your own equipment, have reliable transportation, and submit detailed reports through our cloud-based system. Payments are issued weekly upon order completion and preferences for scheduling are flexible.

Qualifications

• Experience completing interior/exterior residential loss control surveys and reports.
• 3–5 years in Commercial Loss Control
• Ability to work quickly and meet hard due dates with minimal supervision.
• Own a computer with Windows 10 and high-speed internet access.
• Be detail oriented and well organized with a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable car to cover a wide territory as needed.
• Must have a digital camera and measuring tools.
• Have a camera pole extending to 12 ft and measuring tool for property work.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email or phone.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews as required.
• Upload report/photos through cloud-based system by the deadline.
