Job summary

Friendship Village Kalamazoo is seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to join our Independent Living team. The PRN second shift (3pm-11pm) provides flexible scheduling, benefits, and a positive work environment with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour.

This role supports licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and daily living activities. DailyPay is available, with additional holiday perks and weekend shift incentives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Ability to document care given.
• Good assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Transfers, transports and escorts patients as needed.
• Answers signal lights promptly.
