Job summary

Friendship Village Kalamazoo is seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to join our Independent Living team. This part-time first shift (7a-3p) role supports licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and daily living activities.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, with flexible scheduling, benefits, and a friendly work environment. You will assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, and transportation while maintaining safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Ability to document care given. Good assessment skills

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Transfers, transports and escorts patients as needed.
