Job summary

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to join our Independent Living team. This part-time first shift (7a-3p) position supports licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and daily living activities, with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, transfers, and responding to call lights.

Qualifications

• Assist patients with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Transfers, transports and escorts patients as needed.
• Respond promptly to call lights.

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given. Good assessment skills
