Job summary

MRC Industries Inc. is seeking a Youth and Adult Independent Living Supports Coach to provide community living supports for youth ages 5-18 and adults. The role includes meal planning, medication management, shopping, safety skills, and assisting with goals defined in service plans.

Shifts include nights, weekends, and days based on availability, with a $500 sign-on bonus and mileage reimbursement. The position reports to the Community Living Supports Supervisor and offers a dynamic, inclusive

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or mental illness preferred.
Criminal records, driving and recipient rights screening required.

Responsibilities

Instruct and assist with client service plan goals and community living supports programs as defined by written plans and program procedures.
Provide training in independent living skills.
Document daily activities and complete progress notes and reports within time frames.
Transport and supervise clients to appointments while adhering to traffic laws.
Supervise medication administration and monitor health treatment applications and side effects.
Coordinate emergency response with on-call and service teams; communicate with supervisor.
