Job summary

MRC Industries, Inc. in Kalamazoo, MI seeks a Youth and Adult Independent Living Supports Coach for evenings, weekends and days based on availability.

Provides community living supports to youth (ages 5-18) and adults, assisting with meal prep, medication management, safety, ADLs and community engagement while promoting dignity and choices. The role emphasizes documentation, program evaluation, training in independent living skills, and collaboration with the service team to help individuals

Qualifications

• Problem solving and good judgment to respond to emergencies and non-emergency situations.
• Reading, writing and verbal skills to write client goals and objectives.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of people.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and assist with client service plan goals and community living supports.
• Participate in evaluation and development of client goals and activities.
• Provide training in independent living skills.
• Document daily activities and complete required paperwork.
