Vinfen in Kentucky is seeking staff to provide individualized and group supports in a residential program. You will teach skills for independence, support community integration, and promote self-advocacy within a safe, clean home environment.

The role includes planning activities, coordinating transportation, and maintaining documentation to monitor progress and safety. Ideal candidates have strong communication, crisis intervention, and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience may substitute.
• Valid driver’s license and driving eligibility.
• CPR required within two weeks of hire; First Aid within two weeks; MAP within 150 days; PBS Tier 1 within 150 days; Safety Care within 90 days.

Aufgaben

• Assist individuals to become fully integrated into their communities and maintain friendships.
• Access community-based resources.
• Plan recreational and social activities promoting inclusion and well-being.
• Empower individuals to make choices and be self-advocates.
• Provide transportation as necessary.
• Maintain records and logs.
• Procure, store, administer, and dispose of medication per MAP and policy.
• Communicate with program nurse, case managers, and Visiting Nurses Association.
• Provide training and support in the home across various activities.
• Ensure safe, secure, and clean residential environment.
