Job summary

Regional Reporting, Inc. seeks an experienced Insurance Loss Control Consultant to perform commercial insurance inspections and generate underwriting reports.

The role involves driving to sites, capturing photos, and documenting operations to assess exposures and improvements. Responsibilities include recording measurements, identifying construction types, ensuring timely reporting, and coordinating with field management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in loss control services or with major insurers.
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial insurance lines – Property, General Liability, Inland Marine.
• Ability to identify building construction and ISO classes.
• Broad understanding of NFPA codes.
• Strong writing, organizational, and computer skills.
• Ability to work from home with a PC, high-speed internet, and cellphone.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to climb a ladder up to 6 feet.

Responsibilities

• Record onsite observations, measurements, and photos per carrier requirements.
• Identify building construction type, square footage, and hazards.
• Complete inspections and underwriting reports with due dates.
• Communicate with Field Manager to optimize inspections for cost efficiency.
• Schedule inspections with insured representatives and upload photos/diagrams.
• Travel to insured locations; overnight travel may be required.
