You will record patient progress, set up required equipment, and maintain a safe, supportive home environment. The ideal candidate thrives independently and in teams, and stays current with PT guidelines and recommendations.

Qualificações

• Current state licensing for Physical Therapy Assistant is required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current up-to-date yearly physical and vaccines.
• Current driver?s license, auto insurance, and vehicle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster a positive, nurturing environment.
• Familiarity with basic computer skills.
• Ability to work well in a high-stress environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients as they exercise or perform daily functional tasks with proper form and safety.
• Review and administer individualized treatment plans for each patient.
• Report any clinical changes in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate patient records including treatment and progress.
• Assist patients using support devices (walkers, canes, wheelchairs).
• Mentor and encourage patients through major life changes with positive support.
• Maintain all equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
