Job summary

Ascendo Resources is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator for a temp-to-permanent opportunity in New Jersey. The role focuses on independently processing payroll and supporting the full payroll cycle in a professional finance environment.

You will review timesheets, wage calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings, ensure accuracy and confidentiality, and partner with Finance and HR on payroll and related projects.

Qualifications

• Independent payroll processing experience is required.
• Proficiency with Paycom, ADP, UKG, Paychex or similar systems.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Independently process payroll from start to finish.
• Review timesheets, employee records, wages, deductions and adjustments.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and confidentiality.
• Support payroll audits and compliance requirements.
• Partner with Finance and HR on payroll-related matters.
