Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an outside sales professional to develop independent accounts in the foodservice sector. You will own end-to-end relationships, win new business, and expand existing accounts, driving profitability and market share.

This role offers a starting base salary of $85,000 plus uncapped commissions, along with monthly and annual bonus incentives in a supportive, high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in competitive sales in foodservice industry.
• 2+ years working as a chef, sous chef, or restaurant GM ideal.
• 6-12 months sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Generates additional business by analyzing territory and customers; samples products and plans sales strategies.
• Grows sales and profit margins to meet goals.
• Sets up new accounts, determines pricing, and coordinates deliveries.
• Ensures customer satisfaction by coordinating with center staff and resolving issues.
• Builds additional business with current customers through product penetration.
