Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Fitter/Inspector to independently inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems while ensuring compliance with NFPA standards.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years sprinkler experience, a CA Sprinkler Fitter license/certification, and NICET certification pursued within the first year. Excellent communication and reliability are essential, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years sprinkler industry experience required.
• CA Sprinkler Fitter License/Certification required.
• NICET certification to be pursued within first year and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
• Review blueprints to determine system locations.
• Install equipment according to national sprinkler and life safety codes and installation standards.
• Provide documentation and testing sign‑offs upon completion.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Communicate with site contacts and management regarding work status.
