Job summary

Achieve Behavior Alliance Plus, LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide person-centered support in Elwood, Indiana, delivering PAC, Respite, Day Habilitation, and related services under an independent contractor agreement.

This DSP role offers flexible daytime, evening, and weekend hours with compensation at $22.50 per hour, enabling contractors to determine their own client load, locations, and schedules while delivering meaningful community-based care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with reliable documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered, direct care support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, mobility support, and independence-building tasks.
• Follow each individual’s support plan to promote skill development, communication, and community participation.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment while protecting dignity and privacy.
• Observe, document, and report changes in behavior, health, or well-being.
• Complete accurate service documentation and session notes.
• Communicate professionally with families, coordinators, and other providers.
• Coordinate schedules directly with individuals and families.
