Job summary

Castle High Value is seeking self-directed independent contractors to perform high-value home surveys from home or office. You will service virtual and on-site inspections within the Richmond, VA region and surrounding area up to about 75 miles.

Training is available online, with contract-based pay per completed assignment. Qualified candidates may have backgrounds in real estate, insurance, inspection, construction, or appraisal.

Qualifications

• Experience in real estate, insurance, inspection, construction or appraising is a plus
• Ability to schedule and conduct site-based and virtual surveys
• Comfort using web-based client forms and online reporting

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct site-based and virtual surveys for high value homes
• Coordinate surveys within your own schedule and accept assignments
• Identify and document construction materials and features of the home
• Obtain measurements of home and structures on the property
• Generate estimated replacement value and identify major hazards
• Report findings using Castle-provided online forms
