Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet is seeking a project management professional to oversee multiple small projects, ensuring objectives are met and alignment with company standards. The role supports a PMO-led governance framework and may assist on more complex programs as needed.

The candidate will handle initiation through closure, manage stakeholder communications, and contribute to continuous improvement of DFJ’s project management processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, IT, manufacturing engineering or related; two years’ substitution allowed for each year of education.
• Three (3) years of experience with project management as a project team member; Master’s degree offsets two years.
• Desire to obtain PMP or CAPM certification.

Manages multiple, concurrent projects of small size while successfully reaching their objectives. May assist a more experienced project manager in the management of more complex projects. Familiar with key functional processes for the relevant projects. Understands and ensures compliance to DFJ standards for project management.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities (essential Functions)

• Achieve project success by managing all activities of a project lifecycle to deliver/realize desired outcome(s) (time, budget, quality and benefits wise).
• Initiation: identify stakeholders; determine objectives and scope identify staffing needs, kick-off project, etc.
• Planning: create the Project Management Plan, refine the scope, develop and publish the schedule, identify and evaluate risks, etc.
• Execution: acquire project team, manage project team, direct project work, manage communications, conduct procurements, etc.
• Monitoring & Controlling: perform integrated change management, monitor scope, schedule, costs and quality progress, stakeholder’s engagement, etc.
• Closure: confirm acceptance of deliverables, archive project documentation, release project team, close financial, etc.
• The Project Manager may be assigned a focus area such as, but not limited to:
• Business Transformation & Integration (IT, Facilities, Industrial, Organizational Change Management, etc.)
• Aircraft Management or New Programs Management
• Develop and release all project management related documentation.
• Provide regular, accurate and timely project status to PMO management and other stakeholders as required.
• Promotes business transformation activities across the organization with positive communication and demeanor.
• Support the PMO Manager in the creation and maintenance of the Industrial roadmap.
• May assist other project managers in the management of small, large, complex projects including A/c related.

Non-principal Duties/Responsibilities (non-essential Functions)

• Create and/or update Project Management related documentation to support process modifications.
• May conduct business analysis occasionally.
• Researches and recommends continuous improvement opportunities related to DFJ project management standards and processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Manufacturing Engineering or related. Two years of experience in aircraft completion and or manufacturing can be substituted for every one year of education required.
• Three (3) years of experience with project management as a project team member. Master’s degree in related field offsets two years of experience required.
• Currently have desire to get PMP or CAPM certification.
• Must possess good analytical skills: ability to gather, synthesize and present accurate and meaningful information to any level of hierarchy, ability to challenge situations and create information from data, and the ability to understand the impact of projects within a global strategy.
• Good interpersonal skills working with a diverse team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders at different levels.
• Good leadership and decision-making skills.
• Good ability to resolve project issues.
• Good in using common computer tools including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project or similar.
• Must be able to function throughout the total facility with or without reasonable accommodation.

Additional Desired Qualifications

• Advanced degree
• Experience building and administering project plans in Microsoft Project or other project management tool
• Business analysis experience
• Ability to speak and understand French.
• Experience with multiple management methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc…)

Working Conditions

• Typical office environments.
• Must be able to work for long periods at a computer terminal.
• Travel by surface and air.
• Must be available to work off-hours to meet project deadlines.

Compensation And Benefits

The compensation for this position typically falls between $64,426.00 and $86,031.00 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime under FLSA guidelines. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
