Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet in Little Rock, AR seeks a Project Manager to oversee multiple small projects, assisting a more experienced PM as needed. You’ll follow DFJ standards and manage lifecycles from initiation to closure, delivering on time, budget, quality and benefits.

Responsibilities include developing PM plans, coordinating staffing, and reporting status to PMO management. Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills are required to drive consistent project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Manufacturing Engineering or related.
• Three (3) years of experience with project management as a project team member.
• Master’s degree offsets two years of experience; desire to obtain PMP or CAPM.
• Good analytical, presentation and data-synthesis abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders at different levels.
• Proven leadership and decision-making skills; able to resolve project issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project or similar.
• Ability to work across the facility with or without accommodations.

JOB SUMMARY:

Manages multiple, concurrent projects of small size while successfully reaching their objectives. May assist a more experienced project manager in the management of more complex projects.

Familiar with key functional processes for the relevant projects.

Understands and ensures compliance to DFJ standards for project management.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Achieve project success by managing all activities of a project lifecycle to deliver/realize desired outcome(s) (time, budget, quality and benefits wise).

Initiation: identify stakeholders; determine objectives and scope identify staffing needs, kick-off project, etc.

Planning: create the Project Management Plan, refine the scope, develop and publish the schedule, identify and evaluate risks, etc.

Execution: acquire project team, manage project team, direct project work, manage communications, conduct procurements, etc.

Monitoring & Controlling: perform integrated change management, monitor scope, schedule, costs and quality progress, stakeholder’s engagement, etc.

Closure: confirm acceptance of deliverables, archive project documentation, release project team, close financial, etc.

The Project Manager may be assigned a focus area such as, but not limited to:

Aircraft Management or New Programs Management

Develop and release all project management related documentation.

Provide regular, accurate and timely project status to PMO management and other stakeholders as required.

Promotes business transformation activities across the organization with positive communication and demeanor.

Support the PMO Manager in the creation and maintenance of the Industrial roadmap.

May assist other project managers in the management of small, large, complex projects including A/c related.

NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Create and/or update Project Management related documentation to support process modifications.

May conduct business analysis occasionally.

Researches and recommends continuous improvement opportunities related to DFJ project management standards and processes.

Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Manufacturing Engineering or related. Two years of experience in aircraft completion and or manufacturing can be substituted for every one year of education required.

Three (3) years of experience with project management as a project team member. Master’s degree in related field offsets two years of experience required.

Currently have desire to get PMP or CAPM certification.

Must possess good analytical skills: ability to gather, synthesize and present accurate and meaningful information to any level of hierarchy, ability to challenge situations and create information from data, and the ability to understand the impact of projects within a global strategy.

Good interpersonal skills working with a diverse team.

Good verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders at different levels.

Good leadership and decision-making skills.

Good ability to resolve project issues.

Good in using common computer tools including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project or similar.

Must be able to function throughout the total facility with or without reasonable accommodation.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Advanced degree

Experience building and administering project plans in Microsoft Project or other project management tool

Business analysis experience

Ability to speak and understand French.

Experience with multiple management methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc…)

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Typical office environments.

Must be able to work for long periods at a computer terminal.

Travel by surface and air.

Must be available to work off-hours to meet project deadlines.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The compensation for this position typically falls between $64,426.00 and $86,031.00 per year . This position is not eligible for overtime under FLSA guidelines . Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited tothe type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
