Job summary

Vibrant Works in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the safety program across manufacturing and facilities. You will prevent injuries and ensure compliance while supporting an inclusive workforce that includes employees who are blind or vision-impaired.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, HR, and Facilities to integrate safeguards, conduct risk assessments, and drive continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of progressive safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA general industry standards and inspections.
• CSP or ASP certification preferred; OSHA 30-hour GI preferred.
• Experience with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Ability to develop accessible safety training.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company-wide safety program and maintain policies.
• Report leading and lagging indicators; drive measurable risk reduction.
• Deliver safety training and ensure accessibility for visually impaired employees.
• Maintain SDS, inventories, records, and reporting; protect confidentiality.
• Lead emergency plans, drills, and evacuation readiness.
• Investigate injuries and root causes; assign corrective actions.
• Oversee machine guarding and LOTO with Engineering and Maintenance.
• Coordinate safety audits and regulatory inspection responses.
