Job summary

Ucp-of-Central-Florida seeks a dedicated K–5th Grade Teacher to lead a diverse classroom in Orlando, FL. You will implement high-quality, differentiated instruction aligned with the Danielson Framework while building strong relationships with families and supporting individualized student needs in a safe, engaging environment.

The role emphasizes equity in education, collaboration with the IEP team, and the use of instructional technology and arts to enhance learning opportunities for students

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Elementary Education or Exceptional Student Education (ESE).
• Florida Statement of Eligibility or Professional Teaching Certificate required.
• 1–3 years of teaching experience (including internship) preferred.
• Experience with inclusive classrooms and project-based learning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Danielson Framework across instruction and classroom practice.
• Use data to personalize instruction and adapt learning experiences.
• Develop and implement IEP goals with the IEP team.
• Foster ongoing family engagement and regular communication with families.
• Maintain a safe, organized, discovery-based classroom environment.
• Integrate instructional technology and arts into lessons.
• Demonstrate professionalism by meeting deadlines and following policies.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned to support student success.
