Job summary

Ucp-of-Central-Florida is seeking a K–5th Grade Teacher to lead an inclusive classroom of students. The role emphasizes differentiated instruction, data-informed planning, and strong family partnerships within a Florida educational context.

Responsibilities include developing IEP goals, applying the Danielson Framework, and integrating technology and arts while maintaining safety and equity in instruction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Elementary Education or ESE.
  • Florida Statement of Eligibility or Professional Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education (or PreK–Grade 3 if teaching up to 3rd grade).
  • ESE Certification Preferred and ESOL Endorsement Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Apply the Danielson Framework to guide teaching practices and professional growth.
  • Use data to personalize instruction and adapt learning experiences.
  • Develop and implement IEP goals with the IEP team.
  • Foster family engagement with regular communication and planning support.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, discovery-based classroom and health/safety protocols.
  • Incorporate instructional technology and arts into the curriculum.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, meet deadlines, and participate in required meetings and professional development.
  • Provide caregiving support and fulfill additional duties as needed.
