YMCA of South Hampton Roads is seeking a Part-time Family Experience Leader to create a joyful, safe, and inclusive environment for children and families. You will support holistic youth development and oversee high-quality care in early childhood and drop-in spaces.

Under the Family Experience Director, you will deliver engaging experiences, coordinate family events, and promote belonging, learning, and growth through diverse activities and strong team collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Promotes a positive team environment through communication and collaboration.
• Supports planning and delivery of Family Experience programs and events.
• Ensures safety and well‑being of all participants at all times.

Aufgaben

• Greet youth and families to build connections and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Support daily activities and routines under supervision of the Family Experience Director.
• Deliver safe, nurturing care in Stay & Play and Interactive Zone spaces.
• Assist in planning and delivering Family Experience programs and events.
• Use a diverse range of materials and activities to promote learning and growth.
• Follow YMCA policies to maintain a safe and energetic environment.
• Complete opening/closing procedures accurately.
• Report incidents using the proper reporting process.
• Follow check-in/check-out procedures and equipment guidelines.
• Communicate needs for shift coverage and participate in trainings.
• Model YMCA core values in all interactions.
• Participate in Annual Giving Campaign efforts.
