YMCA of South Hampton Roads is seeking a Family Experience Leader to create a joyful, safe, and inclusive environment for children and families. You will support holistic youth development by delivering engaging activities that build confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging.

You will lead and support Family Experience programs, including Stay & Play, Interactive Zone, and parent-focused events, while upholding YMCA values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Promotes a team environment through positive supervision, communication and interactions.
• Assists in planning and delivering Family Experience programs and events.
• Ensures safety and quality care in Stay & Play and Interactive Zone.
• Adheres to YMCA policies, procedures, and dress code.
• Attends mandatory staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintains professional appearance and respectful attitude.

Responsabilités

• Greet youth and families to build connections and ensure everyone feels welcomed.
• Assist in planning and delivering Family Experience programs and events.
• Deliver safe, nurturing care in Stay & Play and Interactive Zone.
• Follow safety procedures and report incidents as required.
• Maintain check-in/check-out processes and equipment guidelines.
• Communicate YMCA policies and upcoming events to participants.
