Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree and Massachusetts teaching license for Elementary 1-6 with Moderate Disabilities PK-8.
• Include SEI or ESL endorsement for the appropriate grade level and be Highly Qualified per state standards.
• Demonstrate ability to meet the Standards of Effective Teaching and hold authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Teach the Elementary General Curriculum in an inclusive environment.
• Provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe cognitive delays.
• Write and implement IEP-based goals and progress reports.
• Provide accommodations for instruction and testing; prepare students for MCAS Alternative Assessment.
• Collaborate with staff to respond to student needs and modifications.
