Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree and MA teaching license with PK-8 Moderate Disabilities.
• License in Early Childhood PK-8 and SEI Endorsement or ESL PK-6.
• State and federal guidelines compliance for Highly Qualified teachers.
• Ability to meet Boston Public Schools’ Standards of Effective Teaching.
• Current authorization to work in the United States by first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach Early Childhood General Curriculum in an inclusive setting for students with Special Needs and ELLs (SEI).
• Provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe cognitive delays.
• Write and implement IEP goals and provide regular progress reports.
• Provide accommodations and, if needed, develop curriculum for MCAS Alternative Assessment prep.
• Collaborate with school staff to support student needs and modifications.
