Job summary

Boston Public Schools, Condon K-8 in Boston, MA, seeks an Elementary and Special Education teacher with SEI endorsement for an anticipated vacancy in SY26-27. The position may start as long-term substitute if vacancy occurs later.

Candidates must hold a Massachusetts 1-6 Elementary license and a PK-8 Moderate Disabilities license, and be authorized to work in the United States. Experience in urban settings and ESL/SEI credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Massachusetts Elementary license 1-6 and Moderate Disabilities PK-8 required.
• Meet all state and federal guidelines to be fully licensed and Highly Qualified.
• Authorization to work in the United States by first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach Elementary General Curriculum in an inclusive setting with Special Needs students and English Language Learners (SEI).
• Provide small-group instruction to students with moderate to severe cognitive delays.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and progress reports.
• Provide accommodations and adapt curriculum; prepare for MCAS Alternative Assessments as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff to support students’ needs and modifications.
