Job summary

Reports to: Principal/Head of school. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and MA teaching licenses for ESL and Moderate Disabilities, plus authorization to work in the United States by day one.

Qualifications

• Education Level: Hold a Bachelor's degree.
• Massachusetts Teaching License for ESL and Moderate Disabilities is required.
• Must meet state and federal licensure guidelines to be Highly Qualified.
• Authorized to work in the United States by first day of employment.
• BPS seeks applicants with licensure in ESL and Moderate Disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement district learning goals aligned with state frameworks.
• Provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe cognitive delays.
• Develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and report progress.
• Provide accommodations for learning and testing; develop curriculum as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff to meet diverse student needs.
