Job summary

University of California, Davis is seeking a Redwood SEED Academic & Student Success Coordinator to lead the academic and instructional components of the four-year inclusive program for students with intellectual disabilities. The role partners with students, instructors, families, and campus partners to support planning, progress monitoring, and engaged university life.

The incumbent will teach the Freshman Seminar, develop training resources, support Universal Design for Learning

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with students with intellectual disabilities.
• Experience advising or counseling students with intellectual disabilities at high school or college level.
• Experience with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and training others in UDL.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for diverse groups.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate academic and instructional aspects of the program.
• Lead program management and administrative tasks.
• Provide student advising for Redwood SEED Scholars.
• Train and supervise peer mentors and instructors.
